A common problem associated with menopause is vaginal atrophy, which can be extremely painful with intercourse. Many women have found that a mixture of pure progesterone oil, and/or unrefined coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil can be applied to the vaginal lining to be helpful. Along with this, Vitamin E and Vitamin A inserted into the vagina itself will be even more effective. This combination will make the vaginal wall more elastic, and less susceptible to infection.

Storage and Shipping Information for Compounded Suppositories:
Typically, all compounded suppositories are stored under refrigeration. This is to ensure they are kept in an unvarying temperature environment and, most often, not for drug stability. We also recommend leaving your current dose outside of the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes prior to insertion, this allows for easier removal from the mold without breaking or cracking the suppository.
When shipping our suppositories, the manner in which they are shipped depends greatly on several factors, including: seasonal temperature, distance traveled and drug stability. Our ice packs are manufactured to distribute hot or cold in accordance with product and surrounding temperatures. Ice packs may reach you frozen or unfrozen; this is because they are used to stabilize the temperature of the package during the shipping. Receiving an unfrozen ice pack does not mean that your product has been compromised.
