what pet owners are saying
I've ordered the wonderful Corn Cream for our Greyhounds. At the moment, I am happy to say both greyhounds have been "cornless" for a year due to your product.

Have you ever tried to get a pill down a cat? If not for Susan Merenstein and her wonderful staff, our beloved kittens would have died 4 years ago.
After moving to the Texas Hill Country, we befriended a young wild cat who repaid our kindness by giving us a litter of kittens! Two years later we got the sad news that all three kittens have a deadly heart condition that would require medication. So, 3 times a day we had to try to get pills down 3 cats. After struggling with the pills and then liquid, our veterinarian recommend transdermal medication.
We called compounding pharmacies all across the country, but their prices were staggering. We found the help we desperately needed when we found Murray Avenue Apothecary. Susan offered us advice, compassion, moral support and reasonable prices that we could afford. We just rub a little dab of medicine in their ear or on their neck. All 3 cats adapted to this very quickly and it couldn’t be easier.
We’ve been clients for 4 years now. Susan and her staff are true professionals who follow the highest standards. But it’s their compassion that keeps us coming back. This wonderful group of people genuinely cares about the health of their clients, even if those clients are Hill Country cats. In our experience, Murray Avenue Apothecary is the premier compounding pharmacy in the USA and we’ll never do business with anyone else. Thank you Susan!
Stuie, Ringo and Dotty thank you too!

Susan has helped my cat GiGi immensely with her digestive problems. She never gave up on her. She is my GiGi's angel. Not only has Susan helped my Gigi, she has also helped my cat Casey with behavioral problems.

Midas was diagnosed with bladder when he was 4-years-old. We tried so many products, and he held on, but nothing really cured him. He used to scream in pain, spray and couldn't sleep. The vet wanted to operate to remove the tumor, but I couldn't do it for financial reasons and I wanted to find a holistic way to help him.
I started him on zeolite three years ago, and his symptoms started to go away after about the first month. He's perfectly normal now, and even a fat cat!
Midas' brother, Remo, began developing diabetes about four years ago. I tried to stabilize him with dietary changes and glucose tablets, but after six months the improvements stopped and he started to lose weight. Norwegian Forest Cats can weigh as much as 18 pounds, but Remo went down to seven pounds.
I started him on a small dose of zeolite and didn't see much improvement. About a year ago he almost died from a malignant grapefruit tumor on his stomach which was pressing on his bladder, and he was leaking urine. The diabetes made his condition much worse and I was afraid of kidney failure. I upped the zeolite to five drops four times a day. Incredibly, within three months the tumor was completely gone, the kidneys had stabilized and the diabetic complications were better. Today his quality of life is greatly improved and he's a happy cat. He's still skinny, but in the last year he's not lost any more weight.

Our cat, Monty, is up in years now, experiencing problems not unusual for an elderly feline.
The compounded medications have been extremely important in coping with his illnesses. A severe jaw infection threatened to do away with him because he wouldn't eat. The pharmacist compounded an appetite increaser with a tasty cat-friendly favor as well as a stomach acid reducer. These medications made it possible for us to stop the weight loss and got him eating again. He also has high blood pressure now and the pharmacist makes a cream I can rub into his ears daily, which if you've ever had to give medicine to a cat, is just wonderful.
The compounding pharmacist has helped extend the life of a beloved pet for the last 3 years. Who else would have done this?

Our calico Meeko "Meme" has a thyroid problem where she requires medication twice a day. We started out using a prescription of pills given to her twice daily. This was a trauma for both us and Meme. As soon as she would see or hear the pill bottle she would try to hide, run, whatever she could do to avoid taking the pill. When we did get her and tried to give the pill to her she would fight us hissing and growling, to the point where we were both stressed out. And then if we got the pill in her mouth she didn't always swallow the pill and we would find it on the floor somewhere, so Meme wasn't getting the meds she needed.
Then.......
We had heard about Murray Avenue Apothecary from Greenfield Veterinary Hospital and were told that they could make the the Thyroid medication into a cream that we rub on the inside of Meeko's ear. We thought about about it and after another visit to the vet where Meeko had lost more weight and was down to 6 pounds from her usual 8-10 pounds, we decided to give it a chance.
Well, this is the best thing we ever did. When we went to give her the cream for the first time, and started to to rub it on h er ear she laid there abd enjoyed us rubbing the medication into her ear. Having her ears scratched is something she really loves. It is now easy to give Meeko her medication, it is amazing how easy it is, and at times she is actually purring. And because Meeko is now getting the meds she needs she is gaining weight back and getting healthier.
Using this compound made for us, is the best thing that has ever happened for Meeko, and Susan and her staff are the best. They are so friendly and I just love their Customer Service.

My pet is very, very anxious, and it is nearly impossible to give her oral medications, even in the form of a pill hidden in her food. To treat her chronic stomach ulcers, which prevent her from eating regularly if left untreated, I must give her pepcid. The only way I have found to help my cat is with the compounded medication. It has literally saved her life, and I am sure this is the case for many others. I certainly hope the option to get compounded medication continues.

I wanted to thank you and Murray Avenue Compounding for helping to keep my Toy Fox Terrier, Harley Davidson, alive.
As a puppy she was diagnosed with a heart murmur as well as she has a heart valve missing, and the veterinarian gave her a bleak lifespan of only four months and suggested euthanasia before I became too attached stating she was in congenital heart failure. It was too late, I already was attached to this lively puppy, and with the help of her twice-daily doses of Atenolol compound she is now three-and-a-half years old and still very full of life. At her last checkup the vet could not believe how strong her heart sounded and said he finally had hope she would live a longer then expected life. I reminded him she already had outlived his expectations, as I believed that she would.
Thank you again, and keep up the wonderful life-saving work that you do!

My 6 year old dog suffers from seizures and needs daily medications to control them, The advantages of having her medications made by a compound pharmacy are that the dosage can be easily adjusted if need be and that it is easier to administer.
Without these compounded medications my dog most likely would have to be put to sleep. I am so grateful to Susan and her staff for helping me to insure that my dog has quality to her life and the she is being well taken care of.

I use Murray Avenue Apothecary to treat my dogs illness. His medication needs to be compounded. Before I found Susan Merenstein, I had to send away for this compound in Arizona as per my veterinarians instructions.
Murray Avenue Apothecary is very convenient for me and my dog is doing very well on this medicine. I hope to continue using Murray Avenue Apothecary for my dog and for myself and my family members if needed.
I believe in vitamins and I think this is a wonderful thing for someone to choose from in regards to their health and well being.
